Student Tours and School FieldTrips

Maureen Kavanaugh is a former elementary-junior high art instructor experienced in working with many age groups. Every school tour is customized to the grade level and subject matter requested by the classroom or home school teacher. Student tours may be a half-day (two-and-a-half to three hours) or a full-day (five to five-and-one-half-hours) in length.

These student tours may be specific to art and architecture for art appreciation or photography classes, to various periods of history for social studies classes, or general overviews of St. Louis history over the past 1000 years, from the Mississippian Era to the present. Suggested Student Tours include: The Colonial Village of Saint Louis, Lewis & Clark in St. Louis, Civil War St. Louis, Immigration in St. Louis, and Celebrating St. Louis 1764-2014: 250 Years of History, Art & Architecture.
